In this four-volume manga, Seri, the leading lady, gets to play the hero while the leading man, Yuzuki, as the "dude-in-distress." The two are arranged by their parents to marry in order for Yuzuki to continue their family line.

This manga has supernatural elements which add an interesting twist to the usual romance story. Yuzuki is cursed.

One of his ancestors has gotten a woman pregnant and did not take responsibility for it. While the woman, Yuu, was crushed, she was angrier at the fact that her son had not inherited the title of the head of the family as befits him. She was also made to keep the child's parentage a secret. She vows to kill all the male heirs of that man.

One day, Yuu splits her soul into two, leaving the dark part behind as an evil spirit and the good part getting reborn into another. The reborn part is Seri.

In the interim, all male heirs of the man's family dies early. And this threatened Yuzuki, as well.

Seri did not know about Yuzuki's curse at first but after falling for him, she started to investigate on how to defeat it. This brought Seri and Yuzuki to various family branch houses.

Eventually, they figure out what was happening and was able to seal the curse. Seri offered to unite with Yuu once again, confident that her happiness will outshine the darkness.

In the end, Yuzuki and Seri gets three children, all named after their ancestors, and plan to add more to the bunch.

I like the mystery in the manga and really made me think on how they could possibly beat a seemingly strong curse. The romance between Yuzuki and Seri were a bit rushed in my opinion and the manga was really held together more by the clue-hunting throughout the series.
